Look Out For The New 2007 Land Rover Defender

© By: Carol Mitchel

The Land Rover Defender came into the North American auto industry scene back in the year 1993. But it has already been in the industry since the year 1987. And several decades after, the Land Rover Defender is still going strong and is still one of the most popular vehicles in the market. It had its own share of trials and of successes and this vehicle sure is one good example of a vehicle that spans various trends and changes in the market. Some even declare the Land Rover Defender to be immortal.

For 2007, the company that manufactures this exemplary vehicle has chosen to give it new upgrades and give it a makeover. So, if you do love this one vehicle, you might want to be on the lookout for the new things that it would be sporting around. But according to the company, the changes that are in store for the Land Rover Defender would not make a really great impact on it as a whole but you can expect to find the kind of look that made the Land Rover Defender and all other Land Rover vehicles an icon in the off road. But despite having the kind of look that seems not to age at all, the vehicle would still be holding the best type of Land Rover air intake parts and the best options and features in the auto market.

“We’re building on Defender’s success with a package of improvements that will extend its off road abilities even further, while transforming on road refinement and comfort. These changes represent a significant vote of confidence in a product which is the foundation of Land Rover’s reputation for off road excellence; we believe these enhancements will win the hearts and minds of new and existing customers alike," says Phil Popham. Popham is the managing director for Land Rover.

The design of the Land Rover Defender still holds that of its original 1948 design. And the very same design brought about two million units to be sold. And that has brought about the title of the Land Rover Defender as one of the vehicle units and models in auto history that were selling like hotcakes.
