Have you ever consider starting a fleet mobile truck washing business? It can be a lucrative business but it is very hard work and somewhat labor intensive. There is no inventory, no location and not a lot to keep track of really. And therefore it tends to be a very high-profit business; that is if you are careful with labor costs and work very efficiently. There is some competition in the fleet mobile truck washing business but it is not so bad really. In fact it is not as bad as many other businesses.
Perhaps because it is not so glamorous the washing of trucks. But if you consider that you get paid per vehicle and they are all in a row the efficiency of your production rate is the real key to making money at it.
To start a mobile truck washing business is fairly easy really, all you need is a hot water pressure washer and plastic water tank and the obvious things like a good strong environmentally friendly truck washing soap, truck wash brushes and buckets. Securing the accounts is not too hard providing you do what you say you are going to do, such as show up on time and do a quality job.
It is definitely on my top 20 list of businesses you can start which are simple and perhaps profitable if you pay attention to the details, work hard and work smart. Consider all this in 2006.
